School begins at 8:30 a.m. We can provide early morning care from 8:00 to 8:30 as needed. When a child arrives, he/she hangs up his coat, changes his/her shoes and enters his/her classroom. There the teachers welcome him/her and he/she may either work with them or choose a piece of work for himself/herself. The Montessori morning continues with the children working individually, in small groups or with the teachers until circle time, when the date and weather are discussed, official attendance is taken and songs and poems are learned and practiced. After this informative and sharing time, the children play outside on the TIMS playground to relax and enjoy themselves.

The children have a warm lunch at 11:30, clearing their tables afterward so they can continue with their school day. In the afternoons the kindergarten classes are offered regularly scheduled music, yoga and gym lessons during the week.

The children are picked up between 2:30 and 3:00pm unless they stay on for an afterschool activity or for the afternoon care.
